This short documentary follows members of the Womb of Violet Artist Collective from Newark NJ who reflect on what Black womanhood and sisterhood looks like to them. What does it feel like to be Black woman in America, to learn your worth, to have a voice, to heal from the past. These women’s testimonies represent the voices of many African American women who can relate to these women and be empowered by their authenticity.
